Samsung unveiled the latest features of Samsung Bixby Virtual Assistants at CES 2018, where users can only identify food categories by taking photos and calculate the calories they eat. It is understood that this feature has not yet appeared in the official version of the list of updates, but from the performance of Bixby in this function, the technology has matured.
It should be noted that if a user uses a camera to align a variety of ingredients, Samsung Bixby can not accurately identify the type of ingredients and calories. Therefore, if you want to accurately calculate the calorie intake, at present, the user can only be targeted at a single food, successive shooting recognition.
Samsung also said at the show that Bixby could work with smartphones with “Samsung Health” apps that would update calorie data in the health of Samsung to calculate the calories it consumed. Samsung has yet to give a clear answer as to when Bixby will be able to update this feature, but from Bixby’s current outstanding performance, I believe that the feature will certainly shine in the future.
